For Evil or for Good?

Given the fact that quite possibly a lot of families share one computer between them, a program like this has scary possibilities:

I don't recall there being easily obtainable phone taps on the market for the average joe, as much as that wireless camera thing was promoted. If someone is using your computer for illegal practices without your permission, then yes, I can see the use of this program. But there is no excuse for invasion of privacy, no matter how paranoid you are about what your kids are doing. That just fosters bad parent-child relationships with an imbalance of power.
