One of my favourite websites is http://www.thinkgeek.com (I guess I should put it in the links section, if it's not there already) I guess because it appeals to my geeky tastes and my fascination with wierd, wacky gizmos that I don't need. It's sort of mainly meant to advertise products, though I think some of them are very much their own. It was at this website that I was inspired to buy a 'box' computer (also known as a 'shuttle' computer) since my personal workspace was getting smaller, and I was only using part of my computer anyway (lots of empty slots). I see a lot of stuff on Thinkgeek that I wouldn't normally think to look for. Plus, it's low on adverts, high on humour and has a few 'in-jokes' as well.
One of my least favourite websites (not that I commit bad sites to memory) is http://www.tubcat.com. I can't seem to figure out if this person is serious, and, if so, if they are sane. This site epitomizes crappy websites that got left behind from 1996 when everyone thought it was still cool to have little goofy animated GIFs and a flashy background. If it is satire, I give them credit for doing a pretty good impression of a bad site. If not, I'm going to be very peeved that loads of people signed a petition against bonzaikitty.org when it was clearly a work of satire, and this guy gets away with promoting feline obesity. Those cats make Sadie look anorexic.
For those curious, Angelfire's a bit hard to deal with sometimes, the pop-ups being what they are. I will probably keep a link to it kicking around, if anyone's interested.
