I have a terrible memory. So, when I want to remember to do things, I usually write them down. When I'm doing my homework, I usually make a list of all of the stuff I have to do, and then go through it. The failing with this is, if I fail to put something on the list, I usually forget to do it. I did that this weekend- I somehow slipped over the other part of my editing assignment and didn't remember 'til lastnight. Goodie for me. You can't imagine the amount of embarassment I felt on that one- we're supposed to be replicating the corporate world here; messy planning is not allowed. Therefore, I need a new strategy.
I've been leaving most of my homework to the weekends lately, because I'm so tired in the evenings during the week. I think I'm going to make more of an effort to change that. I can't really do much about being tired, but I'll do as much as I can on a daily basis, so things won't pile up. I feel like kind of a dolt saying that, since I've been through 4 years of University already, but it's an entirely different pace that I'm adjusting to here. In university I had the luxury of doing my homework during the day, sometimes, if I wanted to. Not so much here. Different sort of spread.
In any case, I made an error in my previous post- it's somethingpositive.net, not somethingpositive.com; which, I'm told, is a site about....a farm? Anyway, kudos to Phil for pointing it out- he didn't want people to think he had some sort of an active interest in surfing pages about cows.
I also found a neat site while surfing rhizome.org - it's called looptracks.net and it's....well....it's sort of a unique experience. Only if you have speakers, though.
