As a growing fan of William S. Burroughs, I was excited to find a claymation version of his work "The Junky's Christmas" on Google video. I've really started to google favourite directors, writers, eras,etc, and the result is just amazing.
This short is produced by Francis Ford Coppola, and follows Danny the Carwiper, who's looking for a fix. It's not fluffy-sentimental, it's not tug-at-your-heartstrings depressing, but it is what I call a Christmas story. And just damn interesting.
This was a video I meant to watch on Christmas Eve (and I wish I had). I'm not so sure that the version on Google Video is the full version, but here it is:
