It's old, but it's new

So, the YRPG tournament went down well....Mark, Dave Kelk, Cynthia, Victor, Phil and I were all in the same group. along with a couple of newer guys I didn't know too well. Michael did a good job of GMing, even if we didn't win. Phil got second place for best player.

It was more hack 'n slash than I would have hoped, but it was a good game. I had trouble wrapping my head around all of the modifiers, which was a pain in the ass, but it's something I could easily learn, if I bothered to play D&D more often.

Afterwards a bunch of us hung out, but it wasn't anything major, we just got some food and whatnot.

It was kinda fun seeing people I hadn't seen in a while. It's been a rather tight couple of years, and I haven't had much chance to 'come up for air' . Makes me appreciate that when I'm finally done school, I can balance things out a little.
