Angelfire on the hot seat

Upon further inspection, we have noticed that it isn't just MY Angelfire blog that's down, it's ALL of them- they're all coming up blank, and none of them have been updated any later than about 4pm yesterday.

Now, maybe, MAYBE they keep copies of all of them stored on their servers or something, but I'm guessing that given the number of people that blog on Angelfire, and the fact that they even inlcuded us in a book ("Blogging for Teens"- go figure), there are going to be a lot of pissed off people when it finally sinks in that their blogs are gone.

I mean, geez....I'm not super upset about it, but I still feel like I've lost a method of communication. There's always this blog (thank goodness), but I was getting kind of used to having both a blog to dump my emotional baggage, and a blog to...be quirky and a little bit academic with. Angelfire: you owe us. You owe us BIG.

If they really did mess up our blogs permanently, I'd say they owe use like....another 200mb and some FTP priviledges or something, to make up for it.

Unfortunately, the legion of bloggers has nowhere to complain....except maybe to their support department.

I'll keep posting updates on this situation.
