See no spoilers, Speak no spoilers, Hear no spoilers - Harry Potter printed in the dark to avoid leaks

You know the Harry Potter craze has hit the ultimate when print shops in the UK are being forced to print the 7th installment of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, in complete darkness.

Employees' bags and cars are also being searched as they arrive and leave, and anyone caught trying to smuggle out copies or place bets on the ending will lose their job.

Why? Because tabloids are just itching to print spoilers, and will pay a pretty penny for them.

All this over a book? Well, imagine it's 1980, Empire Strikes Back has just opened in theatres, and you never expected Darth Vader to utter the words "I am your father" on screen. But when the moment comes, you're floored. You're like "WOW."

Now imagine how different watching that movie would have felt after some terd printed the info in a tabloid newspaper before you had a chance to go see it. Do you get my drift? Harry Potter fans want that moment- that exact moment around the world where they read the ending and are wowed. They might even remember it for the rest of their life (although I can't imagine it would be THAT mind-blowing). I personally know that if someone had blabbed the ending of the Dark Tower series to me before I had a chance to read it, I likely would have punched them in the face...

Some people just prefer the suspense.
